We decided to go out hunting on the hottest day of the year so far and man was the ground hard as a rock. Summertime in Nebraska so what do you expect huh? 97 degrees and humid as heck, but it turned out to be a great day. We got permission to hunt an old house built in 1938 in the country club area and it turned out to be a good one. 196 total coins, 3 slivers (2 rosies and our first Merc of the year) - (1937). 6 wheaties and a bunch of clad. We also found a s coin spill on the property but it turned out to be all pennies, about 75 pennies from the one spill. It must of been a childs penny bank that they decided to hide from mom and dad. Hardly any junk at all on this property, these types of days make hunting worth the wait!!
