Fun Hunt on Oregon Trail brings Trimes and Half Dimes!

I was lucky enough to get invited to hunt on the Oregon Trail at a location in Southeast Nebraska.  And boy was it fun, found lots of goodies and found one of my bucket lister items, a 1852 - 3 Cent Trime!  Some other's in the group found some great items as well, below are some pictures of the Hunt and here is a video of the great experience.

Fun hunt at early 1400's indian village with lots of goodies found

Hunted two older Indian villages on a windy day with winds howling over 40mph.  The first site was from early 1820's where we found an old metal arrow head, a flat colonial button and a neat piece of jewelry, the other site we hunted was from an older early 1400's site and found some neat flint stones, Hyde scrappers and neat pieces of pottery and all were surface finds!

Having fun at a seeded hunt in Topeka Kansas

Had a blast at a seeded hunt put on near Topeka Kansas by the Topeka Treasure Hunters Club.  This hunt is put on every year around the end of may and has about 100 people going for treasure, Nate the Digger didn't do to bad with a real nice 105 coin haul that included over 50 silver coins!  Can't wait until next year!

Bruce the Digger lands his first Silver Dollar!

Went out for a weeks long treasure hunt and Bruce the Digger landed something he has never found in over 30 years of Treasure Hunting, a nice shiny 1900-s Silver Dollar! Found at a old park near Beatrice, Nebraska.  This nice old coin was also only 3 inches deep!  It might be a find of a lifetime.... for now anyway.
