We decided to cash out the rest of our clad that we found so it could be exchanged for silver.  We ended up cashing out a total of $105.99 in clad and were able to purchase all the silver items below in the picture.  That put us at a grand total of clad at $233.22. We went out for a few hours to do some coin shooting and man did we have a great day.  It seems like whenever you go hunting you find some goodies just laying on top as we found this real cool pop gun pistol.  We found an older area in Northwest Lincoln and decided to give it a try and it paid off, we found an old ring but it wasn't silver, but about 1 hour later we hit a 1941 silver quarter and 2 Wheaties that were in the same hole so that was quite the find.  You can...

After Memorial Day weekend Midwest Diggers received an email from Brian from Beatrice Nebraska that His wife had lost her Wedding Ring at a local park playing in one of the local parks with their family. The ring had bend lost only a few days when they contacted us to ask for help. At least they knew to get help right away before the park would get mowed. Got out on the first real nice day of spring and had a great time detecting an 1800's old park. We found some great relics and some awesome old coins including our first V-Nickel of the year from 1906.  We also pulled 3 great Indian Head pennies with the oldest being 1897.  One of the most unusual finds of the day is a 1/2 inch wide old coin that appears to have Hebrew writing on it.
